On March 25, 2026, the central registry (CZ.NIC) implemented a check for a valid phone number in the owner’s contact details.

If the owner´s contact details in the central registry (CZ.NIC), does not include a phone number, it is currently not possible to register a new .CZ domain or transfer ownership of an already registered .CZ domain.  

When registering a contact, you are now required to provide a phone number. If the contact’s phone number is not provided, you will not be able to complete the domain registration or transfer ownership.
